DIY is a panacea for heartbreak and for our hero Max, it definitely worked. Move on na move on na si Max! And Cody is relieved that things are looking up at home, with the apartment and with his Dad. They also met DIY Diva Danica while out on a run.
This last episode will give you an estimate of the DIY costs. If you want to make some of the things that Max made, don’t wait for a heartbreak.
Creative expression is a way to channel depression or anxiety but it is also the way to an inspired life. Here’s a quote from a spiritual teacher Osho:
To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
Inspirations in life come from everywhere, including how to make a cool coat rack brought to you by a trusty doggie like Cody. But of course you also have to be in a frame of mind that you are open to inspiration. And thank God, Max seems to be steadily on the road to recovery. Heartbreak seems to be losing its gut-wrenching sting.
When you are down in the dumps, try to step back. Don’t think or overthink. Give your mind some quiet time and keep your hands busy. Do the things you love. For Max it is creating something with his hands. It gives the added advantage of making his home more presentable.
It’s not easy to break up with someone you love, and then learn through social media that she has a new boo and it’s not you.
After a long bout of being down in the dumps because of heartbreak, Max finally picks up the pieces and starts with making a doggie daybed for Cody. Of course, he could have started with cleaning up the mess in his apartment but Cody does not mind the change in priority since he gets a nice place to rest.
How do you make a bed fit for a doggie king? Watch the video. It’s as easy as it looks.
How convenient would it be if there was a Boysen App that you could use in the comfort of your home, so that you could choose the color that you would want to paint your walls with?
Episode 2 of DIY Diva is where Danica walks you through how to use the Color Capture in the Boysen App.
It’s as easy as how Danica makes it look and would save you time choosing Boysen paint colors for your walls. What’s great is you can use favorite photos to find your colors, and you can try each color to find that particular shade that appeals to you most before you go to a Boysen Mix & Match Station.
