A lot of people have morphed into plantitos and plantitas in the last two years. We have more time at home now. And, something about having a house full of plants just spark joy, you know? My extended family is no different. Suddenly, our family viber group is bombarded with pictures of herbs, flowering plants, and vegetable gardens that each family has started in their backyards and inside their homes. At my house, we have sinigang regularly since we have eggplants, okras, and kangkong plants thriving in our indoor garden. It’s definitely empowering to be able to grow your own food.
