Stumped for some last minute date ideas for Valentine’s Day? You know the drill. Restaurants and bars will be fully-booked. Also, there’s going to be some heavy traffic for sure. Furthermore, most of us are still not comfortable going out and about during a pandemic! I hear you. Honestly, I’m currently going through the same issues as well. I’d love to go out and have a nice dinner with my significant other but…the traffic is too much, man! It’s like a payday Friday but worse…you’re surrounded by lovey-dovey couples! Well, I know I’m not the only one thinking about these things. So, I’ve scrounged up some simple, at-home date ideas for Valentine’s Day!
Cook a Meal Together
Yes, what a cliche thing to do together. But, the easiest way to anyone’s heart is through their stomach. Time to dust off your aprons and challenge yourselves to cook a fancy-schmancy 5 course meal at home. If you guys really aren’t confident with your cooking skills, what about an at-home samgyupsal feast? Anyone can grill meat, right? Don’t worry if you overcook the pork belly a little, just slather on some sesame sauce to make up for the taste!
Play Video Games
Play some relaxing co-op games together like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. Or, if you’re feeling up for it, try something more high-stakes and exciting like Jeopardy. Perhaps, go the “old-school” route and try some boardgames? But, I’m not too be held liable if one of you turns out to be a sore loser! Want to get your blood pumping? Try Just Dance! It’s even funnier if the both of you have two left feet.
Movie Marathon
Make a list of movies that you’re secretly dying to watch. Nobody is allowed to say no! A 3-hour Camp Rock marathon? Your girlfriend can do nothing about it. Seize this chance! Make some popcorn and other movie snacks to keep you energized from cringing, laughing, or getting scared all night.

Get in touch with your artistic side with an at-home painting date! If you guys aren’t feeling too confident in your inner Picasso, try getting some of those paint-by-numbers set! It’s a relaxing activity you can do with your partner. The goal is to create a whole gallery wall with your masterpieces.
Have a Spa Night
I’m pretty sure the romantic couple spa packages are fully booked by now. So, why not try it at home? It doesn’t have to be anything too fancy. Close the lights, play some soothing spa sounds, light some candles, and slather on your most luxurious face cream. Bonus points if you put some cooling cucumbers over your eyes.
