Boysen has different paint finishes, from the most shiny to the most matte – duco, gloss, semi-gloss, satin, matte, and flat. The paint’s sheen, gloss, or kintab is not only about aesthetics but also about function. It also matters which surface you will be painting. The glossier the paint, the higher its durability and cleanability. A flat finish hides surface imperfections well but it picks up dirt and other contaminants easily so the surface can easily be stained, which is why flat finishes are recommended for hard-to-reach (or low traffic) areas like ceilings.
