But aside from these, I just loooove the wooden cabin aesthetic of the places we stay in. I only have faux wooden vinyl composite tiles in my bedroom. Painting Interior Wooden Floors
For interior wooden floors, you’ve got two options to choose from. You can either maintain the natural wooden look of the flooring by just using a wood stain or you can paint some color on it too! To preserve the rustic cottage-core vibe of natural wooden floors, use Boysen Xyladecor. It’s available in several lovely warm shades to bring in that Baguio log cabin vibes indoors. To help your wooden flooring hold up to the everyday foot traffic at home, coat your floors with the Hudson Polyurethane Floor Varnish System after you stain the wood with Xyladecor.
I’m all about preserving that all-natural look for my wooden floors (see opening paragraph above). But sometimes, it just doesn’t fit the aesthetic of your home anymore. In such cases, you can definitely paint some color on your wooden floors! In this instance, use Boysen Epoxy Enamel. Just apply a coat of Boysen Epoxy Primer first then paint over 2 coats of Boysen Epoxy Enamel as topcoat. This product is available in 7 different neutral colors to choose from!
Painting Exterior Wooden Floors
If you want to revamp your outdoor deck, we’ve got the system for you! Just like for the interior wooden floors, you can stain the wooden substrate by using Boysen Xyladecor. However, to preserve and protect your newly stained deck, use the Hudson Timbercoat System as a topcoat. This product comes in three different finishes—gloss, semi-gloss, and matte. Timbercoat gives off a mild odor during and after the painting project. Good thing this is intended for outdoor wooden floors, eh? Just make sure the weather is nice and sunny when you’re using this product to stay well ventilated!

Working with wooden flooring (or any kind of flooring, for that matter) might not come as easy as just repainting your walls.
