I know. I know. With all the things that have to be done to prepare for the Christmas celebrations, especially for the women who usually find this particular task on their plate, store-bought is fine. In fact, it is more than fine, it is a hack for most who wear so many hats. Time is really a luxury for these nurturers/homemakers/income earners. I would be the first to say, anything that makes it easier for you, do that. Stress is a silent killer and no one wants that. This Christmas, make time for yourselves and think about what this holiday season means spiritually.

A Warm Vibe with this Rustic Christmas Wreath
Most of us want the cozy, welcoming, and warm vibe, much more so for Christmas, which is a time of gathering our loved ones close, honoring each one’s place in our hearts, and being thankful for their presence in our lives.
The earthy and warm color of Boysen Permacoat Chocolate Kiss | B-781 creates this feeling of friendliness, peace, wholesomeness, and steadfastness. This is the color we used for the wall. We find this the perfect backdrop for our Christmas wreath, which are mostly made of organic materials except for the lights and floral wire.
As promised, this is a very easy wreath to make. Just get all the materials needed first. We chose a wreath made of twigs, dried leaves, dried flowers, and pine cones. Choose the colors you like. The good thing about these dried plants is that they all have muted shades but look beautiful when combined. Your best bet to buy these things would be your neighborhood florist or a shop that carries these kinds of items.
Making this wreath is all a matter of inserting, layering, and tweaking the results.
Here are some tips:
- In layering, start with the biggest items then proceed with the smaller items. We started with the leaves. We added the baby’s breath last since they are the smallest flowers.
- Get fairy lights that are battery operated. You can hide the batteries at the back of the wreath and use florist wire to hold them securely to the wreath.
