Our fourth Christmas video is about our very own wishlist that many of us have for gifts we hope to get this Christmas. Some gifts can easily be bought from stores; the challenge may be affordability. Some dreams are deeper and much harder to fulfill. But don’t let the perceived obstacles stop you from expressing your dreams to the Universe. Creating reality starts with a thought.

Wishlist

Here’s the fourth Christmas video written by Eljay Castro Deldoc.

GIRL 1:
Ngayong Pasko, ito ang wishlist ko.
Isang malaking pulang laso,
sa buhok ko ay iaadorno.

Dalawang manikang bago,
para ang luma ay may kalaro.

Tatlong bulaklaking palda,
‘yung may disenyong gumamela.

Apat na pares ng hikaw,
kumikislap na parang bulalakaw.

Ikaw, ano ang hiling mo kay Santa?

GIRL 2:
Ngayong Pasko, ito ang dinadasal kong regalo.
Apat na sulok ng matibay na tahanan,
aming kanlungan tuwing bubuhos ang ulan.

Tatlong kapuluan ng mahal nating bayan
makaranas nawa ng kaginhawahan

Dalawang mapagkalingang mga magulang,
masaya at maayos ang kalusugan.

Isang mundong patas at payapa
kung saan laging ligtas ang mga bata.

GIRL 1 & 2
Sana… sana ay matupad
lahat ng ating hinahangad.

This is the English translation for our non-Pinoy readers.

GIRL 1:
This Christmas, here’s my wishlist—
A big red ribbon I can’t resist,
To wear upon my hair with bliss.

Two brand-new dolls I wish to see,
So my old ones have company.

Three skirts with blooms so fair,
With flowers dancing everywhere.

Four pairs of earrings, shining bright,
Like shooting stars that gleam at night.

How about you? What gift do you wish from Santa?

GIRL 2:
This Christmas, here’s the gift I pray—
Four strong corners of a home where we can stay,
A place to keep the storms at bay.

Three islands of our dearest Motherland,
May peace and comfort hold their hand.

Two loving parents, kind and true,
With health and joy the whole year through.

A world that’s fair and free from strife,
Where every child is safe in life.

GIRL 1 & 2
May every wish, both yours and mine,
Come true this gentle Christmastime.

Soft and Gentle Colors

The palette used for this video are mostly pastel colors that bring a gentle, soft, and serene energy to a home. Dial down the vigor of saturated colors and go for the luminous quality of pastels. Bring the light into your home, and yes, do it also with paint colors.

I wish you a soft, gentle, and serene holiday season. May your home be the sanctuary that offers you solace from the stresses and worries of the outside world. May blessings fall upon you. May your heart hold the light of peace that could kindle the same light in everyone you meet.
