Don’t know where to start? Click on the Choose Your Paint feature that will recommend the product you will need based on which surface type you’ll be dealing with, if you’ll use it for interior and exteriors, and what kind of finish you’re eyeing for. The Boysen App will quickly list the products you can use for your needs.
Is there a product name you see in the Painting Schedule that you also want to know about? The Search button is readily available for your use. The Boysen App works without Wi-Fi so you can access the content offline after initial download.
Find Color Inspirations Fast
Do you find yourself during one of your daily walks, spotting a beautiful house, wondering what color they used for their exteriors, wanting to do the same for yours? Take a snap and use the Color Capture feature! This helps you find a color closest to what you found. Boysen has hundreds and hundreds of colors for interior and exterior coatings, it is very possible to find a match for a color you want.
Color Capture also works for all images, making it easy to grab inspiration from a cinematic reel, a piece of art, or your favorite sweater. Again, Boysen has lots of color—thousands! If a color from any visual medium piques your interest, put it in Color Capture and get color suggestions immediately.
Another in-app feature that uses your camera is the Visualizer. It only needs you to take a picture of a room you want to repaint with another color, then you can visualize how your desired color appears on that wall. You can do all that without another photo editing tool!
Once you have your color inspirations, visit The Color Library at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, or your closest Mix & Match Station to physically check your desired color on physical swatches. Devices with varying specs can shift how a color appears, so you would want to confirm if your desired color suits your preference. Though considering the magic of Color Capture, you’re probably sure of the color you want.
Compute How Much Paint You Need to Know
The last app feature I want to highlight is the Paint Calculator. You can find this in Boysen’s official website too, but you already have instant mathematical powers in your pocket (or bag, or wherever you keep your phone).
First, select the topcoat you’ll be using. After, you only need to input the area of the surface you would be painting, then the estimated amount of how much paint you’ll need will be instantly displayed.
Not having enough paint is such a hassle, and you would not want to waste leftover paint either. Get that number number calculated by the app.
Besides the Color Capture, Visualizer and Paint Calculator, the Boysen App also has a built-in guide and mixer should you want to use Colorants. Your needs for a pain-free painting project are in this app.
