Boysen will be launching the Color Trend for 2026-2027 early next year. As is our usual practice we plan to introduce the fresh colors during Worldbex, the leading building and construction exposition in the Philippines.

However, global companies have been coming out with their color predictions for 2026.

Pantone

Pantone—American company known for its standardized color reproduction system used across industries like across industries like graphic design, fashion, and manufacturing—has already come out with the Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Color Trend.

Fashion color trends change much faster than the colors used in interior design. This is understandable because the latter is more expensive and long-lasting, while fashion (especially fast fashion) has a more impulsive product cycle.

In any case, it is worth looking at what colors will be cropping up next year. This was last year’s Spring and Summer 2025 fashion colors.

For 2026, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute Leatrice Eiseman, is predicting colors that “celebrate self-expression and individualism, a dramatic bulwark against AI and creeping homogenisation.”

Yes, here it is again, ways to celebrate our humanness in the age of AI. There is the freedom to create authentic and unique looks. Pantone states, “This combination of maximalist and minimalist colours signals fresh silhouettes, unconventional pairings and novel self-expression that showcases humanity in all its guises.”

But let’s wait for Pantone’s Color of the Year 2026. The company usually releases it in early December.

Behr

Behr is a supplier of architectural paint and exterior wood care products to the American and Canadian do-it-yourself markets. The company came out with their 2026 Color of the Year called Hidden Gem.

Behr’s description of the color:

A smoky jade with an air of mystery and sophistication, this rich, dynamic color creates spaces that feel both grounded and alive.

They have also introduced 19 other colors to pair with Hidden Gem. Go visit the website and drool over the muted tones that can create vibrant, joyful, comfortable interiors.

WGSN

Trend forecaster WGSN and Coloro released the Color of the Year 2026 as early as 2024. They call it Transformative Teal, another blue-green shade that supports a Verdant interior design style.

Trends really show the tendency to decorate homes that have this natural, biophilic design. It’s like a strong movement towards cocooning in organic spaces that celebrate human and natural elements.

Boysen’s Color Trend 2024-2025 also have green hues that promote that calm and peaceful vibe that would help us relax in our homes.
