To simplify your interior renovations without having to overthink about colors, go for white paint. The color white is still a crowd favorite, and has been for decades. It’s a no-brainer color, which can be easily matched with existing furniture and accessories, and can look stunning, elegant, and classy, So what’s not to like? One caveat though is you have to choose the right white.

Boysen has so many whites. Check them out in the fan decks on this website page. It’s very important to check the actual white paint swatch when you visit the Mix and Match Station or The Color Library for those who live in Manila. Please remember that colors you see in your devices would differ from the actual color. Read the reason why in this link.

The Quiet Elegance of White | MyBoysen

Calm Energy

White paint exudes a calm energy, something all of us need. It feels wonderful to enter a home where the serene white canvas can dial down whatever stresses you feel from being outside. Even the heat these days is a stressor. Pollution is another one. The positive influence of white cannot be emphasized enough. Being embraced by the clean color of a white home can help in your healing.

Don’t get me wrong. We love colors too. We’ve got thousands of colors you can choose from. Yet, until today, white is a hands-down favorite, and we’ve got the perfect white that looks warm and cozy, not cold and sterile. This is the much beloved Boysen Tulle White.

Pair your white surfaces with wood to bring out the organic and warm feel of the space, making it cozy and inviting. The color palette in the living room above is restrained, and it is in the restraint in the colors and in the things inside the space that allow the room to breathe.

Here are some white paint swatches that you can check out for your next repainting project. The different kinds of Boysen paint can be used for either interiors or exteriors, except for the Boysen Permacoat Latex paint, which can be for both.

Boysen Healthy Home and Virtuoso Silk Touch are only for interiors. KNOxOUT, Boysen’s air cleaning paint, would be great for your exteriors. Pair that with Boysen Cool Shades for your roof, and you’ve got a partner that will help bring down the temperature in the house, thereby, giving you the sweet possibility of a lower electric bill.

All these different paint products have many other colors too, so here are the links if you want to look into them more closely:

Color Drenching With White

The Quiet Elegance of White | MyBoysen

Color drenching with white is especially easy because white is easy on the eye. Just paint surfaces like walls, ceilings, doors, trims, and baseboards with the same white color. Some even paint their floors white too. My personal favorite are wooden floors but that’s just me. I like the natural warm feel of wooden floors underfoot, and the darker color grounds the space IMHO.

Color drenching is a technique that makes the space look relaxing and even look more spacious, which makes this perfect for small areas. The color cohesion makes it visually relaxing. You can play around with the paint finishes to make the room more interesting, like using semi-gloss for your interior and exterior walls, flat for low- or no-traffic areas like trims and ceilings respectively, or matte for masking surface imperfections well. Of course, the properties of the different finishes can influence the choice of paint finish.

For a classic and elegant ambience in your white room, be also restrained in the colors of your furniture and accessories, as seen in the two images above.

However, if you can want to make a statement with brightly colored things, having white painted surfaces makes it easier to have many different hues. Your challenge would just be to make sure that the colors of the things in the space complement each other.

The Quiet Elegance of White

If you want an easy renovation, pick white paint. You won’t regret having that clean and classy look all over your home. It’s a classic too so the color can last for years. A tip is to clean your walls and other surfaces regularly with a damp cloth. If you live in a busy city like Manila, clean more often, just like you would with your A/Cs.
