I don’t know about you, but it feels like time is just whizzing by. It’s not even a half year since Pantone announced Mocha Mousse as its color of the year 2025, but it feels like that happened so long ago, at least to me. So let’s revisit Mocha Mousse, and discuss its charm again.
Mocha Mousse
Pantone describes Mocha Mousse as “an evocative soft brown that transports our senses into pleasure and deliciousness it inspires.” It further says, “This sophisticated brown offers an everyday escape, a well-deserved treat.”
Pleasure. Deliciousness. Everyday Escape. Well-deserved treat. What’s not to like about all those, right? We all could use some of that in this fast-changing world. If colors can save us from some of the negativity, or give us a sanctuary to restore ourselves daily, then this revitalizing brown is something to consider seriously.

Simmering Ridge | BCP-0050
Simmering Ridge is an invigorating color without that in-your-face intensity. Unlike other bright hues, this one gives energy, instead of overwhelming or distracting you. It’s not feminine. It’s not masculine. It’s just right.
Make your secondary color a soft white, and accent the space with charcoal-colored pieces.
Money Tree | BCP-0037
This color is a good one to have in a home office. Money Tree is a paint color that emits a quietly luxurious vibe that encourages you to bring out that creativity, clarity, and focus—three aspects that could very well spell success in whatever work you are doing.
To complement the color, use soft whites and charcoal accents.
