Waterproof Your Home During the Dry Season
Unfortunately, you cannot waterproof your home now while the rain pours.
The dry season is the best time to apply this product because you avoid rain washout risks. However, hot and sunny weather causes the cement mixture to dry too fast, so always dampen the concrete surface with water. Other dry season tips are:
- Ensure new concrete surfaces have cured for 14 to 28 days before starting.
- Allow 1 to 2 hours of drying time between coats.
- Let the final application dry for at least one full day before adding paint or mortar toppings.
