Bea started out dreaming about visiting her Mom in Canada. But how do you raise all those dollars to afford the trip and not ask Mom to help you out? Enter Beshie with her inspired suggestion: Turn your extra space into a BnB.

Bea took that to heart and made cosmetic changes to her space to attract guests. It needed some imagination, a lot of elbow grease, a few cans of paint and other preparation materials. With DIY, one can really do so much to transform a space at a more reasonable cost.

If you have that extra space in your home, you can always do the same thing especially if you are in a good location, i.e. safe, close to tourist spots or accessible by public transportation. If you don’t want a constant turnover of strangers, you can always go for weekly or monthly rentals, and target a different clientele and not tourists. Think business travelers or OFWs who come home for vacations.
