Dear Homies,

When I started the blog 6 years ago, I deliberately chose February 14 as its launch date because it is easy to remember.

February 14. Valentine’s Day. So yeah, easy date to remember for Let it B’s birthday. After all, it’s that day in the year when people remind each other to celebrate love.

Fast forward to today and….I forgot. I have no excuse for the memory lapse except a private milestone that needed all my time and energy.

Let it B has no video to commemorate the blog’s anniversary. No pretty words enumerating its many accomplishments, how it has grown over the years, how it has turned out to be a great resource for people about all things paint and more. I express my sincere mea culpa to the blog and the team through this post.

Let me take this opportunity now to thank my team mates for holding the fort—Almira for continuing to create exciting images, and Inah and Jill for writing about things that we know our readers want to read about.

Different Personalities

Over the years, we have widened the scope of topics to interest not only homeowners but also specifiers like professional painters, interior designers, and architects. We get mail and comments which help us make Let it B the blog that you need. We’d love to hear more from you because that is how we can grow Let it B to become a well-rounded personality.

Speaking of personalities, we have presented different interior styles because people want different things for their homes. Some like it classical, others like it modern, minimalist, Scandinavian, Japandi, coastal, biophilic…the list goes on.

Let it B is 6 Years Old | MyBoysen

If you are thinking of refurbishing or revamping your home, all you need to do is to ask yourself what you like. Your taste in clothes, music, art, the colors you like to wear, or colors that attract you, are some of the starting points that can help you create your dream home.

For this anniversary greeting, I have chosen a young and modern personality, full of life and vibrant colors. This type of personality and colorful home appeal not only to Millennials and Gen Zers but also to Boomers, Gen Xers, and maybe even Gen Alpha. After all, such is the power of color.

At Let it B, we invite you to use colors to express yourself especially in a place you call home.

Thank you for following this blog!

Love,

P.S. This week, Boysen is celebrating its 70th anniversary. Here’s wishing the company a happy 70th, and Let it B a happy 6th! And Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
