If you haven’t heard yet, we just recently repainted the Boysen Color Bridge at the MOA Square Bridgeway. We filled it with over 150 paint colors that are not only wonderful to look at but you can take home as paint for your home as well! Here’s how.
Look for the Color Name and Code
Walk through the Boysen Color Bridge and, of course, the first thing you see is all the colors. Look a little closer and you’ll notice that the colors each have their own designated icons. These icons reveal the color’s paint name and code.
Simply look for the nearest color key (a sample is pictured above) and find the icon pictured there. If it’s not there, look for it in another color key that’s also close by. And, hey presto! Right beside the icon will be the color’s name and code.
Where to Go for Paint
Now that you have the paint color’s name and code, you have a few options on how to get it as actual paint you can take home.
1. The Color Library by Boysen
If you’re already at the Color Bridge, here’s the most convenient way to get paint from where you are. Just a little walk away from the Color Bridge is Boysen’s The Color Library.
At The Color Library, you’ll find a curated collection of more than 1,300 color swatches beautifully arranged on shelves. Moreover, The Color Library also has a mixing station where you can have Boysen colors mixed as 200 mL or 1 L paints. These will come as Boysen Permacoat Latex, a water-based paint for concrete surfaces, in semi-gloss or flat finish—whichever you prefer.
2. Boysen Mix & Match
You might already be familiar with the Boysen Mix & Match stations. They’re everywhere! These paint mixing stations are in almost all major home depots and hardware stores. They mix paint colors in 4 L containers in as little as 5 minutes.
At Boysen Mix & Match stations, paints come in several Boysen products too. Ask if your chosen color is available in Boysen Permacoat Latex, Boysen Healthy Home, Virtuoso Silk Touch, or Titan Superflex Elastomeric Paint.
3. Boysen’s Online Store
Did you know Boysen has an online store for its paint samples, swatches, and more? If you’re already home and only then realize you want a specific color as a paint sample, head to the Boysen website (Boysen.com.ph). Check to see if the color you want is in stock as 200 mL paints.
About the Repainted Color Bridge
Where the old one was more akin to stepping through a rainbow, the new design—specially commissioned by Boysen from local artist Kenjay Reyes—will be like plunging into waves of color gradients.
The concept for the artwork, as explained by Reyes, was taken from the movement and natural flow of paint when poured. Lively and dynamic, the mural is a gradual transition of colors showcasing over 150 Boysen paint hues.
The Color Bridge is located at the MOA Square Bridgeway connecting MAAX, SMX Convention Center Manila, and IKEA. Take photos and tag us on Facebook and Instagram when you visit!
