As far as making a wall paint design goes, the string pattern wall accent is something easy to do. Watch how Kriz does it in the video.

A little string goes a long way in making the world extra cool and creative. – Kriz

Seriously, this project just needs a very simple tool to give you a similar string pattern wall. How do you make that wall paint design? You just use a wooden block with medium-weight string randomly wrapped around the block and use that as a stamping tool.

As usual, the Boysen team points out the importance of surface preparation. Make sure you read the DIY that pertains to the surface you will be painting.

Another important thing to remember is using the ‘M’ pattern when painting your wall. Why? This way you maximize spread and even out the paint on the wall surface. The result? A clean, smooth and even finish! That’s going to be a wonderful canvas for you to do your stamping.
