If you’ve got a dream like Bea does (hers is to raise funds so she can visit her mom in Canada), you would also go the extra mile to make your dream come true. To make her BnB more attractive to potential guests, she repainted the wall, repainted the rusty gate, made her front door more attractive, and for this episode, she stenciled an old side table to add an interesting feature in the room.

Stenciling is a technique that started about 35,000 years ago. In the last two years it is making a comeback with the gaining popularity of street art and graffiti. It’s also a fairly easy technique to follow. Cut out your design on a thin sheet of cardboard, metal , plastic or other materials. Then you secure it on a surface with tape and apply paint on the cut areas.

Tip: Make sure you prepare your surface well. Please see video.
