Warm and Sparkling with the Perfectionist Palette

House To Home: Warm and Sparkling from the Perfectionist Palette | MyBoysen
The Perfectionist Paint Palette from Boysen Color Trend 2015

The Perfectionist paint palette is one of the four palettes of the first-ever Boysen Color Trend, which came out in 2015. It exudes that je ne sais quoi quality that is undefinable but that has a definitely unmistakeable appeal. The palette is a surprising combination of light and bright colors. The effect is bubbly, effervescent, and sophisticated. Entering interiors with these colors would make you feel that you are entering a sparkling, youthful adventure, much like falling in love.

For this House to Home episode, we chose the sun-drenched Gold Charms (BCT14-7601S) and the delicate pink of Puffy Tutu (BCT14-7708S).

Many people, including me, seldom want to experiment with paint colors especially in our homes. We tend to stick to what’s tried and true. I, for one, love light neutrals like beige and taupe for the walls. Painting the ceiling or the trims white give me that sense of comfort that it will work. Years of experience give me that certainty that I’d have a great color combination going on in my living space. Would it be expedient to reach for similar colors should I give my home a paint makeover? Definitely. Would it be exciting? No.

There comes a point in life when you’d want excitement instead of convenience. So if it’s excitement you want, bring in the warm and sparkling vibes into your home and feel its happy embrace the minute you walk in the front door. Explore the Perfectionist palette, or at least this particular color combination of yellow and pink.
