Dear Homies,

We at Let it B would like to wish you and yours a joyful holiday season.

Another year is almost over and the world is still in the mode of going through the cycles of quarantining or reopening the economy. It’s all very fluid still but I think after nearly two years at it, many of us have come to realize, more than ever, that our homes are our sanctuaries.

For many in Visayas and Mindanao, Covid or Christmas are not at the forefront of their thoughts. It is survival. Typhoon Odette hit many places and left devastation in its wake. Families have to deal with no water, no power, no internet connection, long lines in supermarkets and gas stations, limited bank services. etc. Many also have to deal with damaged homes or no homes at all. Please, if you have the means, do hook up with organizations that are helping the areas that are hard hit by the typhoon. Let this be a Christmas of sharing and giving. As you enjoy Christmas celebrations in the safety of your home, send a prayer for those who are struggling to survive.

A Home is More than Four Walls and a Roof

Home is more than just four walls and a roof over our heads. It is the place where we are nurtured, nourished, kept safe, replenished, rejuvenated, grounded. It is where we reconnect with ourselves and our loved ones, where we commune with each other as we go through the many changes in our lives. It is a sacred space where we lay our weary heads to recuperate from busy (even hellish) days to be able to go out and face a new one with renewed courage and energy. Last but not least, it is also a place to celebrate our life’s blessings, big and small, and to give thanks for them.

For all these reasons, the Let it B team has made so many posts about how to take care of our home as much as it takes care of us.

We do not talk about beautifying homes for the sake of making them look good in other people’s eyes. What is important is how our home feels to us. In this video we made for you, we welcome you to a home where there is peace and love, and all the good tidings for the coming year.

Our homes reflect us. If we exude positivity, so do our homes.

Best Wishes from the Let it B Team

I would like to take this opportunity to present to you our team members and their own Christmas wishes for all of you.

A Joyful Holiday Season from the Let it B Team | MyBoysen

For me, Let it B is more than a blog. It is also a home, where with the help of many of our colleagues in Boysen, we are able to build a place that is wonderful to visit not only because it offers loads of know-how about painting and how to use our products to make your homes functional and beautiful, but also because we’ve filled this blog with creative ideas to inspire you to make your homes look special, the one with your particular DNA that says, “I belong here!”

In the end, Let it B just offers the guidelines, but each of us brings in the heart and soul that make our homes a perfect match for us and our loved ones.

Thank you for visiting this space. We hope you come by more often. Let us know what other topics connected to architectural paint you’d like to know about. Just leave a comment or send an email to info@myboysen.com. If you want to see the posts soon after we publish them, then please subscribe to the blog. For those of you who prefer to watch videos, you can subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

Again, the Let it B Team (Almira, Jill, Robina and I) wish all of you a joyful holiday season with your loved ones!
