LET IT B IS ONE YEAR OLD TODAY!

I remember meeting up with graphic designer Mirz at my place last February 7, 2017 to set up the blog. In a few hours, we decided on the logo, blog theme and design, layout, categories, color schemes, widgets, etc., all because I was hellbent to go live on Valentine’s Day. Thanks for following me down the rabbit hole, Mirz!

In the days leading up to February 14, words just strung themselves together as I wrote articles. I chose photos for each post, and she designed the images to fit the posts. At the same time, both of us grappled with the software. We knew how we wanted things to look like, but sometimes we didn’t know how to manipulate the software. With bullish tenacity, we did manage after much gritting of teeth and chats that ran until all hours of the day and night. We did everything on the fly, and worked until the dead of night throughout the weekend. Fueled by an almost manic madness to give it a face, we made the deadline and Let it B was born on February 14, 2017.

Happy First, Let it B!

Our first post was Gorgeous Green, as homage to the Boysen green as well as a nod to Greenery, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2017.

Here’s our one year old baby today!

Aside from this blog, we have a YouTube channel which contains all the videos we’ve made for Let it B.

Thank you!
