Bedroom
Deeper, darker colors can make a room feel cozy and intimate. It’s just the thing for a bedroom. Why not go daring and try it out for yours?
To keep the room from looking too gloomy, bring balance by choosing a lighter color for your cabinets. Keep things interesting by bringing in texture through soft furnishings like rugs and throw pillows. Make sure you have other sources of indirect light in the room as well such as lamps. Metallic accents work well with dark walls too!
For your walls, go for Boysen Healthy Home. It’s very low-odor—so much so that other room occupants can stay in the room while it’s being painted or while waiting for the paint to dry. Just make sure to open all doors and windows to make sure there’s still proper ventilation.
Kitchen
Does cooking feel like a chore? Get a burst of happy energy whenever you walk into your kitchen and paint it in bright colors.
