We are starting a new series of DIY video tutorials with Bea (or B as her friends call her). Fitting for a blog that’s called Let it B.

This is her first episode where she makes a key dish where she puts her keys right where she can find them quickly. Hopefully, she won’t lose them again. Same goes for those guys out there. If you’re prone to go around in circles looking for your keys before you can leave the house, then make your own key dish.

The best thing about this key dish is that you won’t need a kiln to fire it if you make it the Bea way. She used air-dry clay, one of the most used clays for crafters. You can sculpt and make anything you want. It’s easy to use, easy to get, and relatively inexpensive.

Build with Bea: Key Dish Using Air-Dry Clay | MyBoysen

I would like to do something like these drinking cups myself. But air-dry clay is best left unsealed so it is not watertight or food safe, and therefore, good for decorative pieces only. Maybe I will use these as egg cups.

DIY Video Tutorials for Home Accessories

Let it B has been making video tutorials for years now. We’ve built up a selection that would be great for creative bonding sessions with family and friends.

Concrete Plant Stand

Not too big and not too small. Make your own concrete plant stand for those plant babies you have in the house. This is not as easy as Bea’s key dish. If you’re not crafty, then skip this.

Wooden Coasters

These hexagonal wooden coasters would be much easier to do if you left the cutting of the wooden pieces to a carpenter. Pour your energy into painting these pieces in scrumptious pastel colors.

Animal Mobile

Got babies in your circle or expectant mothers? Put on your crafty hat and make a baby mobile for the nursery. The pieces are easy to make because the material used is cardboard and not wood. Just download the shapes from free internet sites and you’re good to go.

Terra Cotta Pots

This video tutorial on painting terra cotta pots is one of the most watched in the blog and our YouTube Channel. The interest is still there and growing because more homeowners want to have plants inside and outside the home.
