Morfosis Design is a multi-disciplinary design studio specializing in commercial and residential interior design, founded by Misty Floro and Pai Edles in 2013. In this talk, they will be discussing how their personal background, beliefs and values, help shape the interior spaces that they design. Course Description
With the abundance of urban design knowledge and information available for everyone’s consumption and scrutiny, our country has a wealth of ideas and plans that are intended for the improvement of our waterfront communities’ urban lives. However, segregated neighborhoods, congestion, unsafe pedestrian settings and disaster risk exposure, to name a few, still exist in these districts. Through the presentation of the studio’s explorations on some of these locales, this lecture proposes that the gaps between vision, plan and reality could also be attributed to the strategies and approaches behind the design interventions that define our urban waterfront areas.

After completing the course, the participant should be able to:
- Highlight institutional frameworks within which some of the projects and activities for these urban waterfront communities originated.
- Provide awareness of the underlying factors that influence our waterfront communities’ problems and our urban environments’ spatial issues in general.

Boysen WoodPrime is an acrylic water- based primer designed for application on interior wooden substrates. It is low in odor and is formulated to have better tannin resistance. It is best to refrain from using this product on high-friction areas such as fixtures and furniture.
