We all get creative blocks. All we need is a reminder of the possibilities. Here, we used different color combinations in one room to show the potential of a space.

We’ve made two color combos for a living room, bathroom, and kitchen using the Live color palette from the Boysen Color Trend 2022/23 collection paired with another hue from the Boysen Color Palette. Hopefully, this inspires you to bring more color into your home too!

Living Room

Teal is a refreshing and effortlessly cool color for the home. It’s gently vibrant and adds a subtle perkiness to your living room. Pair it with grounding, earthy colors that have a tinge of orange, like Casa de Oro, for a space that impresses, or neutrals with cool undertones for cohesiveness.

For dagat lovers, try Marine Sanctuary for its deep hue. It’s an eye-catching blue reminiscent of calm ocean waves on a summer day. We recommend Whiskers if you’re looking for a hue to pair it with. And if you need more inspo, check out this surf shack-themed home work area.

Bathroom

Take a dip into clear waters with Mellow Mint. It’s a soft blue that’s easy to get lost in especially if you have some time to spare for yourself in the shower. Just sit back and imagine yourself looking up at a clear blue sky. Pair it with Dove’s Wing to act as clouds.

If somber rooms are more your vibe, Cool Tides and a bit of a darker gray or black, like Octavius, create a comforting retreat. It’s a color scheme best for rooms that get a lot of natural light to balance things out. Don’t forget the houseplants!

Kitchen

Go for a combination of gray and white in your kitchen for that classic look. It’s elegant, classy, and an easy way to make your kitchen look put together. Just be mindful of the other colors you introduce to the space. Keep the palette clean and simple. Choose Silver Streak and pair it with Nilla Vanilla.

If you’re more the flamboyant type, Sahara Sunset is just the scene stealer you’re looking for. It’s a showstopper that’s more than capable of keeping the mood in the kitchen upbeat and lively. Complete the look with Crocus Tint.

Getting These Colors as Paint

All the colors featured in this blog post can be mixed at Boysen Mix and Match stations. Simply take note of the code and name of your chosen paint color and bring it to a Mix and Match. Capable staff can have it machine-mixed and ready for you in minutes. Find a list of locations of stations here (there are a lot!). They’re found in major home depots, hardware stores, and paint stores.
