If I could choose a favorite not-so-ordinary day of the year, it would be Valentine’s Day. But no, not because of all the love in the air. I mean, I love love but I’d rather munch on something sweet.

Seriously though, I love how people of all gender and ages become so open with their declarations of love no matter how big or small. Roses and chocolates are selling out, hands are holding another, and everyone becomes a love poet. Suddenly, the earth looks like a casting call for Romeo and JulietThe day reminds me that love can still thrive in spite of the heartbreaks.
