To date, I believe Boysen has a gajillion colors in our repertoire. Okay, maybe not in the gajillions, but we do have quite a lot. Sifting through hundreds of colors from brochures and fandecks, I’ve come across several interesting colors with unique color names—they’re named after food! So, here’s some hunger-inducing hues to try out in your homes.

BCP-0977 Cheddar Cheese

Ahh…cheese, perhaps the greatest food invented by man. It goes great with everything—bread, fries, rice, and, that’s right, even on your walls. (The color, anyway). Don’t let this bold, cheesy hue scare you. If it seems a little bit too intense, use it as an accent wall color instead. Pair it with more toned-down elements in the space to create balance.

BCP-0843 Buttered Popcorn

I consider buttered popcorn a marketing strategy by malls to entice mall-goers to go to the movies. You can smell it from a mile away! As a hue, though, Buttered Popcorn is a bright and warm yellow that’s perfect for bedrooms. It’s the perfect backdrop for curling up in bed and watching movies all day. (With a bowl of popcorn in hand, of course.)

BM-0131 Oh Olive

Some would consider olives an acquired taste. For those who appreciate the salty twang of this typically preserved fruit, it goes great on pizzas, salads, and charcuterie boards. Paint the walls of your home with the rich green hue of Oh Olive. This hue is grounding, calming, and great way to add some zen into your home.

BCP-0867 Egg Noodle

What noodle option do you typically reach for when you eat out at a hotpot restaurant? While most would go for the glassy sotanghon, egg noodles have always had a special place in my heart (and stomach). Like its namesake, the color Egg Noodle makes for a great base for any kind of style and flavor. Looking for a more minimalist or Japandi look for your space? Go for the muted and versatile Egg Noodle.

 B-780 Chocolate Brown

Everyone deserves a sweet treat once in a while. Chocolate is always a good choice. High quality chocolate is actually chockful of healthy things that are good for you! Maybe you should just think about that while you’re chewing on your second chocolate bar for the hour. Create a cozy atmosphere at home with the deep brown hue of Chocolate Brown. It’s time to live out your cottage-core dreams!
