Summer is drawing near. Sundrenched spaces and sun-kissed skin will be filling up our social media feeds soon to tempt us to seek places where we can do our own sun rituals. We don’t need to go to warmer climes to do that. We can do it right here in our islands. We can even do it right here in our homes.

Let’s prepare our homes to catch the splendor of the sun and bring its radiance into our homes. The colors in your living spaces could be the light catchers. Think of whites, light neutrals, and even Peach Fuzz, which has this natural effervescence about it.

This post will focus on beige, a color that Boysen has many offerings for. I’ve read many an article over the years about how boring beige is. On the other hand, I’ve also read many articles about how timeless and classy beige looks. This is why the best thing to do would be to read on, then trust your own instincts.

Stunning Beige Paint Colors

Our Instagram page has images that show the different beige colors of Boysen. Here are just a few of the photos that would get you dreaming about the warmth and sparkle of sunshine.

Lounge in the Light

Now that is a perfect place to lounge and daydream, wouldn’t you agree? With the heat, it’s best to go about your day languidly. Your brain may be as sharp as a tack but there’s no need to sweat your way through the day.

Add some textures with your fabrics. To keep the vibe cool and light, add pale pastels as accents like the light mint throw pillows, and the blush and cream flowers.

Make Waves with Weaves

Take the weaves out of storage and show them off around your home. We’re blessed. We’ve got master artisans in the country that can make beautiful things like pendant lamp shades, baskets, trivets, placemats, habi fabrics made by weavers from different islands in the country…

I get my local woven products from markets or fairs. If you’re lucky and you go for a vacation in any of the places known for their weavers, take the time to visit the local outlets. You may even get to meet the weavers themselves and learn more about their craft. Chances are you will learn more about our rich heritage.

Powerpuff Powder Room

A clean home is always a joy to be in. I don’t know about you but you can already feel if a home is clean the moment you step in. It’s not only the sight and smell but also the feeling.

Bright, light spaces naturally help give off the vibe of airy freshness, so help yourself by painting your walls with gorgeous beige colors.

Spoil yourself (and your guests) and have a powder room that exudes a lot of rizz.

Classic White and Beige

Get that French country cottage style with whitewashed ceramic pots and wooden console cabinets with turned legs for that vintage look. Use two colors on your walls to make the space more interesting.

Beige and Other Light Neutrals

If you’re #teamputi and you want a change, you might like to carefully experiment with colors by using beige or other light neutrals. We’ve got several posts that talk about these hues.
