Out with the old and in with the new, as they say. Always looking to keep things fresh and exciting, Boysen recently unveiled a new booth design at Worldbex 2024. And it had all the bells and whistles that Boysen exhibit-goers love!

If you weren’t at the exhibit (which happened last March 14 to 17 at World Trade Center Manila and SMX Convention Center, by the way), don’t worry. We’re here to give you the recap.Let's Recap: The Boysen Booth at Worldbex 2024 | MyBoysen

What’s There to See

The previous Boysen booth design was a compact version of The Color Library. It was set up like a typical library only, instead of books, on the shelves are hundreds of panels painted with Boysen colors called Colorbooks. Cool, right?

You were still able to spot Colorbooks in the new booth design, including the new colors from the Color Trend 2024/45 Ascension collection. But, we also wanted to showcase Boysen’s other products as well—not just paint colors.

Found at the redesigned booth were large-scale swatches of Boysen’s special finishes Marmorino, DECORe Classic, and DECORe Perlescente which are paint products that give texture and dimension to walls. There were sample swatches too of popular Boysen products like Oil Wood Stain, Acrytex, Automotive Lacquer, Quick Drying Enamel, and more.

If you love the look of a faux cement finish, you were able to get up close and personal with panels featuring Konstrukt’s Lunar Series. You were also able to touch these too to feel the texture yourself.

What’s There to Do

Boring? Not here. We wanted to make the redesigned booth interactive so aside from things to see, there were things you could have done.

First, grabbed a copy of the free brochures that were there for visitors. The Boysen Paint Product Guide is essential for any Boysen user. The Color Trend booklet is a great source of inspiration.

Fuyama brushes demo

If you came at the scheduled time, you’d have been able to watch a live demo on how to apply Konstrukt products, such as skimcoat and faux cement finishes. Our friends from Fuyama also showed how to pick brushes and rollers depending on your project and the product you’re using. (Tip: If you got lucky, you might have scored a freebie or two.)

Many professionals visited the booth to consult with our technical engineers and sales agents on duty. Whether you had questions about Boysen products or needed help on how to deal with painting problems, they were there to help.

Keeping Up with Boysen Color Trend

The latest Color Trend collection was recently launched so there are quite a few activities to introduce visitors to the new colors.

One of the most popular features, a mural painting activity called Color Stories was found at the back of the booth. It featured artworks (one at a time) created by our talented in-house artists. Visitors got to paint these themselves using the hues of the four palettes in Color Trend 24/25.

If you were short on time, visitors were able to take home a coloring sheet of the artwork. These you can fill in with whatever colors you like. Of course, there were Colorbooks of each of the palettes from the collection on display too.

We’re very proud of Color Trend 24/45 Ascension so we were delighted to hear your thoughts on it. Young professionals, interns, and students especially were fans!

Mertyl, 20 years old and studying Architecture at the National College of Science and Technology, found the palettes refreshing. “The combination of the colors in the Awakening and Artistry palettes are unique and not common. I don’t think I’ve seen these colors put together before.”

Cherry, 22 years old said, “I also do art, mostly portraits. Color is not my forte but I really liked the painting activity because it was relaxing. And, the colors of the Awakening palette are pleasing to look at. The lilac stood out the most for me. But I’m excited for the Alchemy artwork the most. I really like the lotus and the mandala in the design.”
