The TOUCH color palette of  Boysen Color Trend 2026-2027 called Currents consists of earthy colors that provide a grounded, warm, and calming atmosphere to a home. This color palette does not overwhelm because all colors, even those that are light and bright, are inspired by nature to create a place that feels safe and secure.

Any one entering its threshold would feel the quiet invitation to relax, kick back, and unwind. It encourages one to be more in touch with oneself and to the people sharing the space, and help everyone to live with more soul in the moment.

Welcoming the Gift of Touch

Belonging is the gift that the color palette TOUCH brings.

The beautiful light neutrals of greige (Silk Solitude), pale cream (Comfort of Linen), and light brownish-beige (Cashmere Dream)—are very soft and easy on the eye. A medium-dark olive shade (Rooted Depths), a charming dark-desaturated yellow-green much brighter than sage (Barefoot on Grass), and a light khaki (Freckles)—are natural colors that connect indoor spaces with the natural world. The charming pale lavender colors (Afterglow and Calm Aura) can add a whimsical and beautiful touch.

Brown colors, light or dark, are a major interior design trend in 2026 as more people are driven by a desire to be cocooned in spaces that give more comfort, calm, and nurturing.

Collage Inspo for the TOUCH Color Palette

Like the other three color palettes in the latest Boysen Color Trend, we made this collage for you to see the possibilities of using the TOUCH palette. We hope this inspires you to make your own collage. Add objects and textures that appeal to you. Make it a dream board, a tool for self-discovery and manifestation.

The TOUCH color palette is very versatile. It can be used for a traditional home or a contemporary one. This depends on the other building materials you will use. This particular collage is made for a modern Filipino home with woods and weaves that our country has in abundance.

The tactile and surface quality of building materials add depth, warmth, and personality to a space. Create a dynamic, layered look by combining different textures. Accentuate them by using soft, ambient lighting.

Also remember that synthetic materials in homes make a home toxic. We may not be able to cut those out completely. Just be aware that you use natural materials when you can.

Come Home to a Safe Haven

Whatever color palette you choose for your home, make one that fits your personality and lifestyle. A home that seemed right 20 years ago may no longer be the right one for the person you are now. The only constant for most of us is that we would want a home that makes us feel safe, warm, and comfortable…a space that we belong to and that belongs to us.

May you have this kind of home that welcomes you with a warm embrace the second you enter the door, that touches you with its presence as much as you touch it with yours.
