Good-quality paint is best accompanied by good-quality rollers and brushes. That’s why Boysen now has its own line of painting tools—Fuyama! These tools are just as trustworthy as our paint products so you can rest assured they’ll help you get the smooth and beautiful finish you’re after.

Boysen’s Line of Rollers and Brushes

Poor-quality brushes and rollers will only make things more difficult for you. Hard to work with and easily worn out, you’ll find yourself taking more trips to the hardware store just to replace them. Save yourself the hassle.

Fuyama is Boysen’s own line of rollers and brushes. Japan-made, these premium painting tools are designed to give you excellent results and last you through multiple uses.

“Fuyama complements the Boysen products. Boysen paints are of good quality, it should follow that its paint tools are of good quality too,” says Engr. Patrick Negrete, Manager of Boysen’s Technical Service Department. We talked to him about the features that make Fuyama rollers and brushes exceptional. Here’s what we found out.

Fuyama Rollers

  • Lint-free and resists shedding
  • High-loading capacity
  • Durable and made for multiple uses
  • For water-based and solvent-based paints
  • Available as 7-inch and 4-inch rollers

With poor-quality rollers, there’s a high chance you get shedding. This means that when you’re painting, you’ll notice the roller leaves behind fibers on the surface—it’s one of the most frustrating things about cheap tools. You won’t get that with Fuyama rollers.

Apart from being lint-free, these rollers also have a high-loading capacity which means they pick up a good amount of paint when you dip them. This helps keep your coating of paint consistent, avoids unsightly roller marks on the surface, and makes work faster and easier.

Durable and hardwearing, Fuyama rollers are made to last multiple uses. Compared to cheaper rollers that need to be replaced often, you can use good quality ones over and over again making it the more economical option. Just remember to clean your rollers and store them properly after use.

Fuyama Brushes

  • Flexible, fine bristles
  • Resists shedding
  • High-loading capacity
  • Durable and made for multiple uses
  • For water-based and solvent-based paints
  • Available as a 1-inch paintbrush

Fuyama brushes are made from synthetic bristles that can be used for both water-based and solvent-based paints. They have fine, flexible bristles that help ensure a smooth finish. In comparison, poor-quality brushes typically have stiffer, thicker bristles which are likely to leave behind brush marks.

The bristles are also longer and denser which allows for a higher loading capacity. A higher loading capacity gives an even and consistent coat and minimizes brush marks on the surface. They also resist shedding—no picking out loose bristles on the surface you’ve painted.

Just like Fuyama rollers, Fuyama brushes are made to last multiple uses as long as they’re washed and stored properly after use. A good-quality tool you can use over and over again is still a smarter buy than a poor-quality one you need to keep replacing.
