There are several steps before you can apply your favorite paint color on your metal surface.
Prepare the metal surface
Like any other substrate, a metal surface needs to be prepared properly before anything else. For a proper metal surface preparation, use Boysen Metal Etching Solution, which is a rust converter and a metal cleaner.
