We take paint color recommendations very seriously, so we looked up at the stars for inspiration. Here, we’ll give you color inspirations according to your zodiac sign. By the way, I am merely describing the people I’ve known from each zodiac sign. My description is just a version of you in my mind, it’s different from how you see yourself or how others see you. These paragraphs will not give justice to how wonderful and unique you are. Each one of you is a work of art, it’s inevitable that words will fail you. I apologize in advance. For any violent reaction, we have the comment section below.

Regardless of the limitation of language (and my writing ability), you’ll get a Boysen paint color recommendation based on your zodiac sign here.

Aries

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Aries were a Boysen paint color, they would be Yellow Ware (B-7560).

They feel like sunshine. I’ve never seen them sad. They’re always enthusiastic even if people are giving them a hard time. I asked my Aries friend why she’s happy all the time, and she replied, “I don’t look back or regret anything, and I don’t dwell on problems.” It’s always refreshing to be reminded that it’s possible to choose to be happy even in tough times.

Taurus

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Tauruses were a Boysen paint color, they would be Mystery Winter (B-7512).

They have a calming presence and the shade Mystery Winter captures their grounded spirit. They’re humble and hardworking. They don’t give up easily because they believe that anything can be learned. They know what they want, and they have a specific way of doing things. You can always rely on them. Polite and patient, they rarely get mad but when they do, you better run.

Gemini

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Geminis were a Boysen paint color, they would be Snappy Green (B-7550).

This zesty color matches their bright personality. They love to talk about anything under the sun, except feelings. They don’t like to dwell on negative emotions because they like to face problems with actions. They will listen and talk to you even if they don’t agree with you. They won’t judge you; they will always try to understand your perspective.

Bonus: If you need movie or music recommendations, ask a Gemini because they have an eclectic taste.

Cancer

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Cancers were a Boysen paint color, they would be Shaded Ice (B-7507).

They have a reputation for being the most emotional among the zodiac signs, but I met a lot of cold Cancer people—that’s why they’re like Shaded Ice. They don’t trust people easily; they want you to prove yourself.

They follow their intuition and they know if you’re bad news. They fall in love easily but they won’t tell you because, again, you have to prove that you have good intentions. They judge your actions, not what you say. For someone who doesn’t believe in what people say, they could be cheesy and expressive about love. My Cancer friend always sends me a sad love song, quotes romantic movie lines, or writes sonnets when she’s brokenhearted. Yeah, they’re emotional.

 Leo

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Leos were a Boysen paint color, they would be Ojay (B-7566). This warm hue reflects Leo’s affable aura.

They’re always well-dressed and well-read. They have great taste in everything—coffee, clothes, music, movies, and people. They can talk about their interests for hours on end. They tend to repeat their stories when they share their experiences. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve heard them, let’s just say, I’ve memorized their stories. Hey, I’m not complaining, they’re entertaining storytellers.

Virgo

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Virgos were a Boysen paint color, they would be Pawn Beige (B-7508). This simple but elegant color fits Virgo’s smart taste.

I don’t want to believe in zodiac sign stereotypes like calling Virgo a neat freak. However, I grew up with a Virgo, and my older sister taught me everything I need to know about being organized. They love to make to-do lists and they accomplish them. If they wrote it, it will be done. They’re always working on something; they rarely take a break. Don’t ever tell them to rest because work is their therapy.

Libra

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Libras were a Boysen paint color, they would be Breeze (B-7540).

Debating about different issues without being offensive is a breeze to them. They’re insightful and charming, a unique combination that explains why even after a polarizing political discussion, you’d still be friends with them. They won’t delete or block you on Facebook even if you have a dissenting opinion. They just don’t like getting into fights. Their favorite word is civilized.

Scorpio

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Scorpios were a Boysen paint color, they would be Old Redwood (B-7570).

I know the term old soul seems overused but we’re assigning the hue Old Redwood for the real old souls, the Scorpios. Try talking to a young Scorpio and you’d feel as if you’re talking to a full-grown adult. They’re wise beyond their years. They’re great listeners and they give great advice too.

If you have a Scorpio friend, then you’re extremely lucky. They will remember your birthday and they will write you heartfelt letters. They’ll even accompany you to a concert even if they don’t know the band playing.

Sagittarius

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Sagittariuses were a Boysen paint color, they would be Nuevo Terra (B-7580). This hue gives off subtle heat like Sagittarius’ energy.

They’re a joy to be around because they’re funny and sweet. If you ask them for advice, they will probably mask their comment or criticism with humor, so you have to read between the lines. They’re honest but they package their bluntness with jokes.

Capricorn

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Capricorns were a Boysen paint color, they would be Ashton Grey (B-7503).

Grey is a perfect choice for the pragmatic Capricorns. If you’re friends with them, you know you won’t hear them say comforting words when you have a problem. They will give you tough love and a Ted Talk to help you out. They won’t hesitate to point out your bad habits, and they’ll give you practical advice with links to reputable articles. They seem serious and brave in public but they’re truly sensitive. They look intimidating but they’re really harmless dorks.

Aquarius

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Aquarians were a Boysen paint color, they would be Aqua Cool (B-7541).

Aquarius people are too cool, too smart, and too good to be true for this world. They’re always obsessed with some obscure stuff. Only Gemini folks can catch their drift. They’re the first to get into something. For example, before coloring books were a thing, they’ve had collections of it. They’re the first fans of something before it gets a following.

Pisces

The Zodiac Signs as Boysen Paint Colors | MyBoysen

If Pisces were a Boysen paint color, they would be Peach Medley (B-7571).

They love to love. Like the feel of the color Peach Medley, they will make you feel at home. They will cook homemade snacks for you and make you a cup of tea. They love deeply but they also know that even in relationships—nothing is ever set in stone. We argued about this because I cling on to clarity and permanence but my Pisces friend will always be there to remind me of the beauty of changing your mind.
